The unique KBT duo seat swing hook is designed specifically for swing accessories with four suspension ropes, like several of our KBT duo seats and nest swings. The four suspension points provide an optimal stability during swinging. The duo seat swing hook fits on both roundwood (Ø 90 up to 120 mm) and square wood (90 x 90 mm). The distance between the carabina hooks is 300 mm. The threaded bar is M12 with a safety nut and plain washer included. 

All KBT swing hooks are protected with extra thick bright zinc plated galvanisation with stringent requirements. The duo seat swing hook comes with nylon bearings which have far superior durability characteristics compared to PP bearings.

This swing hook meets all security aspects of the European Standard EN71-1, EN71-2, EN71-3 & EN71-8.

INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE

The frequency of inspection and maintenance will vary with the type of equipment or materials used or other factors (e.g. Heavy use, coastal location, air pollution, age of equipment, ...). Moving metal parts must be oiled regularly.

Routine visual inspection (weekly to monthly) - Always check that the bolts and nuts are securely fastened. Check for any missing parts.

Operational inspection (1 to 3 months) - Check the stability of the construction. - Check every part for excessive wear and replace when necessary.

Annual inspection (1 to 2 times per year) - Check for rust and corrosion. - Check every part for excessive wear and replace when necessary.
